Bloggers Abroad

Jon Howell is studying in Dunedin, New Zealand. Read his blog.

You can read first-hand accounts of DU students’ international adventures at the DU Abroad site.

The site links to blogs by students studying in France, New Zealand, Senegal, Thailand, Chile, Israel and dozens of other countries. Many of the students are part of DU’s Cherrington Global Scholars program, which lets undergraduates study abroad—all at no additional cost beyond that of a term at DU.

Studying abroad is a major part of the DU experience. Sixty-three percent of DU undergraduates study abroad, compared to 1 percent of undergraduate students nationwide. We rank second among U.S. doctoral-level universities in the percent of our undergrads that go abroad to study.
